Keith West is the founding President of Latitude GLC (Global Leadership Community), a global non-profit ministry based in Rockwall, Texas. Latitude GLC was founded in 2015 and currently partners with churches in the United States and South Africa to raise up the next generation of spiritual leaders.

Married for 43 years to Kimberly, who is a Licensed Professional Counselor, they have two adult children. Keith and Kimberly have entered a new season of life as grandparents.

Throughout his ministry, Keith has mentored emerging adults and has witnessed spiritual transformation in their lives as they have committed to the practices of saturating their lives with the Word of God and prayer and investing in accountable mentoring relationships. Keith believes that spiritual leaders continually develop throughout their lifetimes under the sovereign activity and guidance of the Holy Spirit, and that his ministry is to cooperate with this work of God by coming alongside these emerging leaders as a fellow learner and experienced companion on the spiritual journey. Keith also believes that emerging adult leaders need established spiritual leaders to invest in them so that they are better equipped to flourish in life and finish strong.

Community of leaders

From Founder & President Keith West

Latitude GLC (Global Leadership Community) focuses on young adults who desire to be spiritual leaders in all domains of society. We come alongside local churches and non-profit organizations to help them raise up a new community of spiritual leaders. Through mentor-based discipleship, training events, leadership resources and church-based internships, Latitude is helping shape a new generation of leaders.

Latitude has chosen to respond with the words of Psalm 45:17: “I will perpetuate your memory through all generations; therefore the nations will praise you forever and ever.” (Psalm 45:17) The way we perpetuate His memory is to come alongside a new generation of Christ followers as mentors and teachers, trail guides and companions on the spiritual journey. Our task is not to simply build a healthy ministry; it is so much more than that. By faith we want to participate in a global movement of God, a spiritual awakening, by creating a global community of young leaders who feel called to perpetuate God’s memory to their own generation.

Our calling is clear: to perpetuate the memory of God through all generations.

Our mission is a simple IDEA based on the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19: to Inspire, Disciple, Encourage and Activate the next generation of spiritual leaders and disciples of Jesus.

And our vision is bold: to raise up a global community of young leaders who embrace their identity from Christ, pursue intimacy with Christ. attain maturity in Christ, and become models of Christ to their own generation.
